Abstract

The article provides a systematic analysis of the legal regulation of conflicts of interest in the Republic of Uzbekistan based on the Law “On Conflict of Interest” dated 5 June 2024. It examines the scope of the Law, the range of regulated entities, their duties, restrictions, and the institutional mechanisms for its implementation. Particular attention is given to the role of the Anti-Corruption Agency, specialized internal units, and ethics commissions in the prevention, identification, and resolution of conflicts of interest. The mechanisms of disclosure, internal control, and liability are analyzed. It is noted that the current model is multi-level in nature and aligns with international standards of good governance. The study concludes that a comprehensive legal framework for preventing corruption risks has been established in the public and quasi-public sectors of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
