Abstract
The topic of this work is to evaluate the effectiveness of commercial activities of a retail enterprise.
Trade in a market economy operates within a large-scale, rapidly changing external environment. The entire spectrum of complex positive and negative processes, contradictory trends occurring in the economic and social life of both the country and regions, are reflected in trade.
Today, the circulation of goods also dominates, so the role of trade as a link between the sphere of retail enterprises and the sphere of consumption is increasing. From trade, retail enterprises receive reliable information about consumer requirements and changes in demand for the products sold.
