Abstract
The article focuses on the fundamental problem of the development of motivation motivation, effective ways of learning, among students in non-linguistic universities that study basic and technical English as a foreign language. A significant place in the article is given to the huge role of the teacher in raising and strengthening motivation, which is the key to an effective educational process.
